2) HELLO ... it's me ... Leanne Gorsuch

Leanne Gorsuch, Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I have been ‘crafting’ since I was a little girl as my Mother was very talented and taught me so much. I still have several of those first projects and I treasure them.  They bring back such pleasant memories – the times she and I spent laughing and sharing while working on our projects together.

She was an elementary school teacher and she taught me how to help others “learn” too.   I’ve been teaching since high school.  I can’t think of a time when I wasn’t showing someone how to do something in the creative world whether it was music, needlework, or paper crafts.

3) How I Came to Stampin' Up!

Heartfelt Thanks by Stampin' Up! 2006I heard about Stampin’ Up! and attended my first class in 2006.  You can see my first card here.  I fell in love with the their Color Collections, the stamp sets and coordinating products (oh how I love my punches!) and the quality of everything they offered.  When I found out I could represent this company as an Independent Demonstrator, and show others how to make cards as lovely as this one, it didn’t take me more than a minute to join!

4) Why I Stay with Stampin' Up!

I’ve been with Stampin’ Up! since August 2006.  It started out as a way to share this new-to-me company and paper crafting with family and friends.  It has grown into a Business where I supplement my income from product sales, class fees and selling my tutorials.  It is the perfect marriage of teaching and earning.  Where else can you do what you LOVE and get paid for it?!

Yes, it’s a business, but it’s also a Community.  Sharing my love of paper crafting & teaching others has been so rewarding.  But the friendships I’ve made along the way are the reason I stay.

The other reason I stay with Stampin’ Up! is because they recognize that LIFE happens and we must adjust our business accordingly.  If you need to step back for a while to attend to the needs of your family, Stampin’ Up! understands.  As long as you meet your quarterly minimums, your place within the Company is secure.  What other business would let you “draw back” when you need to without adverse consequences?  That’s what working for an international company run by a faith-based family is so valuable … and why I’ll continue to stay with Stampin’ Up!.
